The Final Fram

This week was finals. We had the choice to make one of three different coo-coo clock. I think most people thought that it was going to be a one day final. But it ended up being a two and a half day final. The reason for this is because on top of making the clock, we also had to animate it. I would say that making it wasn't that hard because it was more or less just tracing a sample clock.

Cloth and Graphing

This week we leaned how to use the Cloth attributes and more of the MoGraph attributes. I would have to say that the hardest project we had to do this week was the MoGraph ball. The reason for that is because the part that makes the ball shrike and expand wasn't working. The easiest one this week i would say was the cloth because we were just making a plane fly towards a ball and reaping around it.

The norenderring project

This week we learned how to use the attractor effect. The unrenderedproject took a day to make. But the down fall was it took two and a half days to render because my computer was taking forever. So on Wednesday, I split the project between two computers Allowing me to turn it in on time.

How to use animate tools

This week we learned how to animate text, shatter objects, and how to use auto key frame. For the shattering we found out that we didn't have to animate it if we pared it with the fracture attribute. The sample videos that we had to use were using a newer version of the same program we use so it was confusing. At least hopefully before Christmas we should have the newest version of the program. I can't wait to use the new program for class.

tast of animation

This week we had to make a 10 second video. The video could include the following Cube, Cone, Cylinder, Disk, Plane, Polygon, Sphere, Capsule, Oil Tank, Pyramid, and Platonic. To add deformers to some of the objects, you must use the Bend, Bulge, Explosion, Explosion FX, Melt, Shatter, Shear, Taper, and the twist. Even though the video needs to be only10 seconds long,  it's taking me longer because I'm moving the camera to follow what's happening.

Pocket watch

This week we had to make a pocket watch. The watch is mainly made out of disks and tanks. For this project we could make a watch of our own design. We just needed to make one that was realistic. This project is based on a classic gold watch.

Lego people

This week in class we had to make Lego people. It was easier then people in class thought it would be. I mainly used just splines and cubes. It was  as simple as just traceing some pices and exturding the cubes. The set of five Legos you see are heroes. The heroes I made are as followed Spider man, Captain America, Black Widow, Iron man, and Hulk.

halling lumber

The project in this post is a lumber truck. This project wasn't that hard since I only needed to make half of it then just symmetry it. A majority of this project was made out on cubes. I just needed to extrude alot of the cubes.

Mid Chess

For the mid term project we needed to make a chess set. Before class I though it would be harder then it was but it wasn't. It was just a lot of tracing prices. Since this marks our last project of quarter one, I'm guessing that starting next quarter we will learn how to animate things.

gypsy ball with a suprize

This week I made a gypsy ball. Even though is was simple to do I still liked it. As you can see from the picture, its just made from a disk and a sphere. I had to use an environment and emitter elements for the smoke. Sadly I couldn't just color the smoke since I was using a light to color the smoke. As I said this was simple so I wasn't able to turn it in to get points for it. So I had to make a new realistic object. I will include a picture of the realistic object that I will be turning in. But I won't go in to details about that project till next weeks post.

classroom

This week we were able to make a room with what ever we wanted. I ended up making a classroom. Making the tables and other classroom items was hard, but once I made the needed items, I was able to copy it the number of times I needed it to complete the room. This room was made as if no class has ever been in the room.

living space

For the project this week, we had to make a room that contaned of ten object. There were only 3 items that we needed to have, then the other seven items were what ever we wanted them to be. The 3 mandatory objects were a coach, coffee table and a lamp. The other 7 things that I added were an Xbox, tv, xbox controller, magazine and mean other things. Unlike the other projects we had to make, this one took over a week to complete.

Want some wine

On the left here you see a wine bottle and glass. The bottle was made by tracing a picture of a wine bottle. After we traced it we put it in a latheNURBS. The latheNURBS converts a traced or dawn object from lines into a 3D object. We also did the same sequence for the glass and the liquid wine. We then added  color to the wine, bottle and transparency to the glass.

Railway

I will be posting every so offend updates for a fun project that I have been working on. For this update you see a set on train wheels and tracks. The round part of the wheels are disks with the everything besides the outer most ring was extruded. The axial is just a cylinder that has just been re sized and the same goes for the rails and ties. But instead of cylinders they are squares.

Imac

The piece that you see above is an Imac.  Just like the other pieces on this blog,  I used  cinema 4d to make it.  The screen is made up of many different rectangles that were also used to make the base of the screen, and the actual visual part of the screen, where you see the desktop. The stand might look complex but it's only a simple line.  The reason why it look complex is that there is a 3d cube taking the shape and position of the line.

snowman house

This is that first project made in Cinema. What you see in the image to the left is a well, house and a snowman. The seen is on a snow caped mountain. As you can see the people who live in the building made a snowman on the top of building. The sanowman was made by puting three sphire on top of each other and a dice with the middle extrueding parts of the middle cycle to make the arms. I did the same to make the top hat

Job Learning

For the first week we have been doing career stuff on careerzone. We have done things from assessments to match jobs that fits our personalty's to figuring out much money we need to live. I would say that this is good since because I don't thing most kids know how much it costs to live just for one person. Once I did the salary I had about 32 hundred left over after taxes and bills. I can't wait till we start the actual animating program

First Steps

In the first couple days of Mr. Closons we leaned what the class was about. I haven't seen the bad reports reports that i have herd about this class. With the rules that were layed out I do see what I have herd but at the same time the grades in this class are determined by how hard and how much you work.
