The Final Fram

This week was finals. We had the choice to make one of three different coo-coo clock. I think most people thought that it was going to be a one day final. But it ended up being a two and a half day final. The reason for this is because on top of making the clock, we also had to animate it. I would say that making it wasn't that hard because it was more or less just tracing a sample clock.

Cloth and Graphing

This week we leaned how to use the Cloth attributes and more of the MoGraph attributes. I would have to say that the hardest project we had to do this week was the MoGraph ball. The reason for that is because the part that makes the ball shrike and expand wasn't working. The easiest one this week i would say was the cloth because we were just making a plane fly towards a ball and reaping around it.

The norenderring project

This week we learned how to use the attractor effect. The unrenderedproject took a day to make. But the down fall was it took two and a half days to render because my computer was taking forever. So on Wednesday, I split the project between two computers Allowing me to turn it in on time.

How to use animate tools

This week we learned how to animate text, shatter objects, and how to use auto key frame. For the shattering we found out that we didn't have to animate it if we pared it with the fracture attribute. The sample videos that we had to use were using a newer version of the same program we use so it was confusing. At least hopefully before Christmas we should have the newest version of the program. I can't wait to use the new program for class.

tast of animation

This week we had to make a 10 second video. The video could include the following Cube, Cone, Cylinder, Disk, Plane, Polygon, Sphere, Capsule, Oil Tank, Pyramid, and Platonic. To add deformers to some of the objects, you must use the Bend, Bulge, Explosion, Explosion FX, Melt, Shatter, Shear, Taper, and the twist. Even though the video needs to be only10 seconds long,  it's taking me longer because I'm moving the camera to follow what's happening.

Pocket watch

This week we had to make a pocket watch. The watch is mainly made out of disks and tanks. For this project we could make a watch of our own design. We just needed to make one that was realistic. This project is based on a classic gold watch.

Lego people

This week in class we had to make Lego people. It was easier then people in class thought it would be. I mainly used just splines and cubes. It was  as simple as just traceing some pices and exturding the cubes. The set of five Legos you see are heroes. The heroes I made are as followed Spider man, Captain America, Black Widow, Iron man, and Hulk.
